Lace Curtains and Frivolities
I just found this half-inked page in a sketchbook. No reason not to finish it. It’s only a frivolity, but a character-building frivolity. The setting is Mayann’s new apartment in Paris, featuring her Sueco-French choreographer Pontus “Pom” de la Gardie and her Italo-French teacher whom we all know and cherish. (Were there any ‘pure’ Frenchmen in Paris at all back then?!… I guess I have to do something about that…)
