Finalmente! Back on track.
Poor Father Pietro, witness to all that foolishness. I’d be embarrassed, too.
Curious footnote: “Ciao” is originally a Venetian word. It means literally, “I am your slave”. Discuss…
It’s the Modern World, the End of Times, the Decline of the West, the Revolt of the Masses. It’s the 1920’s. It’s going to be Very Silly.

Worldly amusements… Is Falco jealous of Lou? He must know that she is… not Mayann’s type.
How would he, as a Priest-y person, feel about the whole lesbian thing, anyway? I wonder if he would have tried to save Lou’s soul… I can’t imagine that would go over very well.

Oh my! So much Mochi!!! Falco’s evil looks and evil gestures!!! I shall have to reread this another dozen times …

Zheyna: Falco is pretty clueless. Of course he doesn’t approve, but with his share of southern machismo he doesn’t think women can be up to much mischief on their own… I guess he is also guided by a sense of self-preservation!
Tinet: Is “servus” only used in Austria? I wonder if there’s a connection to the fact that the Veneto area used to belong to Austria-Hungary. EDIT: Oh, and panel 5 on page 20: Where’s the drummer???

Apparently you’re right about the Austro-Hungarian servus connection - variations of it are used in many parts of the former Austro-Hungarian empire. “Czech: Servus, Hungarian: Szervusz, Polish: Serwus, German: Servus, Portuguese: Servo, Romanian: Servus, Ukrainian: Сервус” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servus
